Surveys to align with research: Highlighting our partnership with The Aspen Institute Project Play
Resonant Education in collaboration with Project Play created and validated the From the Huddle 360-degree surveys, which allow coaches, teams and sports organizations to measure themselves against the Calls for Coaches framework. Calls for Coaches highlights strategies and best practices that coaches can use to name, model, and create environments for youth athletes to develop and practice social and emotional skills. The new survey, From the Huddle, collects 360 feedback from athletes, parents/families, and coaches to measure how often and how consistently coaches are implementing those strategies and creating positive environments for their athletes to thrive.
SCHOOL AND DISTRICT Leadership
Resonant Education created and validated two 360-degree supervisor surveys in collaboration with BCPSS based on the existing research for supervisors under the Vanderbilt Assessment of Leadership in Education (VALED). Each survey aims to assess the leadership behaviors of different supervisors within BCPSS - Principal Supervisors and People Leaders (supervisors of staff within the district office). Both surveys include feedback from three different respondent groups to provide the most comprehensive assessment of supervisor leadership. These surveys are now being adapted and used in other district settings as part of the VALED leadership package
